Meet The Team: D. Founder - Chief Reality Officer

Meet D. Founder.

He has built the roadmap.

He has survived the all-hands.

He has watched “customer obsession” slowly become “vanity metrics obsession.”

D. Founder is your guide through Silly-con Valley — a place where reality is optional, but the insanity is very, very real.

He comes from the product trenches: early-stage chaos, scale-up chaos, stakeholder chaos, roadmap chaos, and the special premium chaos where everyone says they’re aligned because the meeting ended.

He started where many inconvenient truths begin: QA and testing.

Which means he learned early that products rarely fail because someone forgot a button.

They fail because assumptions go unchallenged, incentives get weird, communication breaks down, and someone says, “We’ll fix it post-launch.”

Post-launch, of course, being the magical future where all technical debt is paid and everyone remembers what they promised.

Eventually, D. Founder went from finding bugs in software to finding bugs in leadership, strategy, and team dynamics.

Same skill set. Worse dashboards.

Silly-con Valley exists because the tech world has become too absurd to describe with normal language.

Startups confuse funding with wisdom.

Executives call layoffs “unlocking efficiency.”

AI products promise to transform human thought, then ask you to rewrite the prompt seven times.

Companies say, “We’re a family,” right before scheduling the family restructuring call.

D. Founder isn’t here to tell you technology is bad.

That would be too easy.

He’s here to ask why so much of it sounds like a TED Talk, behaves like a casino, and ships like a group project where the most confident person never opened the doc.

This is satire from inside the machine.

From someone who has seen the sprint planning, pitch decks, pivots, “quick syncs,” fake urgency, real burnout, beautiful ideas, broken promises, and the exact moment a perfectly reasonable product becomes a shrine to someone’s quarterly objective.

He used to test software.

Now he tests the stories the industry tells about itself.

Welcome to Silly-con Valley.
